Accounts, My Polls and My Votes

What registering adds, where your polls and votes live, and how the browser-side vote list differs from the account one.

What an account adds

Creating and voting work without an account. Registering keeps your polls retrievable: they appear in My Polls, can be edited, duplicated or ended later, and their results stay linked to you instead of a link you have to keep.

Signing up and signing in

Register with a username, an email address and a password, or continue with Google — both routes land in the same account area. Turnstile captcha appears on the form when the site has it enabled.

Dashboard, My Polls, Voted Polls

The dashboard is the overview: your polls, their status (active, upcoming, ended) and the votes they collected. My Polls lists every poll you made with the actions available on it. Voted polls lists the polls you voted in while signed in.

My Votes is per browser

My Votes (/my-voted) is stored in this browser and remembers polls you voted in without an account. It follows the device, not the person: clearing browser data empties it, and it does not sync anywhere. Voted polls in the account is the version that follows you.

Settings and password reset

Settings lets you change your nickname and password. The username and email shown there are read-only — the email is what password resets are sent to. If you forget the password, use Forgot password on the login page; the emailed link expires after one hour.
